HISTORY
The Ancient Age
The nation once spanning the ancient continent, Yashma (In Yashmani, Iácmá) split into four nations: Naeá Iásmá, Maegrã, Dzaerá, and Láxodaeá.
The Yashman loyalists of Naeá Yashma were at the northwest.
Maegrã claimed the west along with the western coast. Dzaerá was in the central region of the continent. Láxodaeá, with the largest territory, had the south and the east. Láxodaeá wanted to distinguish itself from Yashma, and became known as Loxodia.
Not long after the establishment of Loxodia as a nation, the Dekarian Rebellion took place. The people known as the Dekarians claimed the entire northern half of Loxodia. The Kingdom of Dekara seceded from Loxodia not long after.
Due to internal tensions, Dekara split apart and the Kingdom of Éphnea was established in the Northwestern part of Dekara.
There was not only tension within Dekara though, but throughout the continent.
After many wars and seemingly endless battles, the three kingdoms of Loxodia, Dekara, and Éphnea reunited as one nation: the Kingdom of Loxodia.
What became of ancient Loxodia still remains a mystery to this day.
Many ages later, artifacts of an ancient civilization called Loxodia were discovered along with history recorded on scrolls.
The discovery was made by none other than an heir to the ancient throne of Loxodia: Gaspar Eduardos.

The modern age
The modern nation of Loxodia is a monarchy established by Gaspar Eduardos on the eighth of Sivan, 5776 (June 14, 2016).
Eduardos designed and established the official website and became King Benayahu I.
The beginnings of the nation have been very uncertain. The first two Elders were appointed in the newly established
House of Elders, which later became the House of Lords on the 9th of Sivan, 5776 with the Elders becoming Lords.
Gaspar I was very optimistic about the House of Lords, but when the Lords were not taking
as active a role in the House as he had hoped, he began to question his judgement in
appointing them. They are still the only Lords to this day.
The king established the Hebrew calendar as the official calendar of Loxodia on the 11th of Sivan, 5776,
as well as the Shekel as the official currency (Constitution, III.2).
On the 16th of Sivan, 5776, the King approved Loxodia's first female citizen, Lady Barbara Johnson.
More conflict occurred when Lady Barbara came into the king's domain on Sivan 20. Though welcome, there were tensions between her and the king. To date, tensions between the king and Lady Barbara have not been settled.
On Tammuz 1, 5776, the constitution was established by King Benayahu I.
At the beginning of the year 5777, the king established the Loxodian Shekel instead of the Israeli Shekel as the official currency, though the changes were in name only, and the currency symbol is a Shekel sign with an "L" before it (L₪) The exchange rate remains ₪1 to L₪1 and in actual use in real life, the Israeli Shekel is still the circulated currency. Another currency symbol was adopted, which was Lx$, also representing the Loxodian Shekel.
